Scholarships

Each year scholarship monies are presented by the Greater Ossipee Area Chamber of Commerce to deserving students.

The object is to offer financial assistance in the form of scholarships to area people who will be entering college in the fall of each year. Eligible people must physically reside in the towns of Effingham, Freedom, Madison, Ossipee, Sandwich, or Tamworth and attend Kennett, Kingswood, Community School of Tamworth, Interlakes or enroll in a Adult Tutorial Program.

Upcoming Events To Benefit Our Scholarship Fund

GOACC Golf Tournament:

You are cordially invited to participate in our 19th Annual GOACC Open.

It is scheduled for Wednesday, August 28th, 2019   at Indian Mound Golf Course in Ossipee, NH. Registration begins at 7:00 am; Shotgun start is at 8:30! 

The proceeds of the Greater Ossipee Area Chamber of Commerce’s annual golf tournament have enabled us to award well over $1000,000 in scholarships to local students pursuing further education.

We want to thank our local business community for being a big part of this annual event.  Without you, this support of our local youth could not happen.

Hot breakfast will be served
Format: 18 Hole Scramble

Fee: $396/ Team (4 players)
$99 Individual Player (Individual players are welcome and will be placed on a team)
(includes greens fee, cart, goody bag, breakfast & luncheon)

Contests:

• $10K Cash Hole-In-One
• Golf Ball Cannon Shot Tee
• 5 “Par 3” closest to the pin,
• Putting green 50/50
• Closest to the line
• Ladies and men’s longest drives,
• Low gross, first, second, and third place net prizes.
