The Greater Ossipee Area Chamber of
Commerce (GOACC) is a 501 (c) (6)
Non-profit membership organization
When first chartered in November 1977 The Greater Ossipee Area Chamber of Commerce (GOACC) committed to its members and the community at large to stimulate economic, cultural and recreational interests within the townships of Effingham, Freedom, Madison , Ossipee, Sandwich and Tamworth . As we continue to sustain this vision by constantly monitoring and striving to improve the business environment locally, the current GOACC Board of Directors works extremely hard to publicize and promote in a tasteful manner the commercial interests and attractions of our beloved area.
Business owners are encouraged to participate in many GOACC projects and events, designed not only to highlight and promote their own company initiatives, but also intended to capture the collective entrepreneurial spirit of our neighborhood.
OUR PRODUCTS & SERVICES...
The GOACC website www.ossipeevalley.org is an invaluable tool for our members and visitors alike. Cutting edge, industry proven traffic driving initiatives, has the pages of our website popping up high on the lists of search engines all over the internet. The Greater Ossipee Area Weather page, flashing banner ads, reciprocal links are examples of GOACC's ongoing commitment to the marketing medium of the future. Each member is listed on our site, with a short description and a link back to their own website where more detailed information can be found.
The website doubles as a resource for both our member businesses and visitors alike; so feel free to visit www.ossipeevalley.org and click away!
Each year GOACC produces a local area guidebook designed to increase the exposure of our members, as well as provide a handy reference book for our treasured visitors. Guidebooks are available at many of the NH visitor centers across the state, as well as at our own visitor booth located at the junction of 16 and 25 in West Ossipee . Each of our valued member businesses are listed in the book, and many of them will stock and distribute copies at their own place of business; local businesses promoting local businesses...
Quarterly Business Expos:
Each business quarter, The Chamber hosts a 'Business to Business Expo", sponsored by 5-6 of our members, and catered by one of our member restaurants/inns. The BOD felt it more productive to offer fewer, better-quality affairs, whilst continuing to provide the same valuable networking opportunities afforded by the old after hour's format. This newly adopted initiative has added significant benefits to our membership..
There is now a buzz within the organization that a GOACC event should not be missed. So, if you would like a chance to "meet and greet" with the business leaders here in the Greater Ossipee Area, check out the schedule and come join us at our next Quarterly Business Expo!

OUR ANNUAL EVENTS
Annual Golf Tournament & Scholarship Fundraiser
Each of the past 15 summers, GOACC has held an extremely popular golf tournament at The Indian Mound Golf Club in Center Ossipee. The main reason for the event is to raise money for scholarships that are distributed to local area students entering college in the fall of each year. Annually an average of $7,000 is awarded to our future collegiate graduates. What could be better; serious golfers and duffers alike uniting on the links for a fun filled day in support of a hugely beneficial cause. Don't miss our 16th Annual Golf Tournament on August 22nd 2018. Click here for more info...
Annual Dinner - Membership Meeting
Each October the "GOACC family" meets to enjoy a night of celebration and awards, as well as to plan for the upcoming year. The annual dinner is a time to come together as a group in an effort to support the organization, as well as to recognize our most valued and/or active members. Every year, the BOD nominates and gives an award to both the 'business' and 'business owner(s)' of the year. Support of the organization, as well as leadership shown within the business community, are keys to securing either of these prestigious honors. Prior to the dinner, all members of the organization are invited and encouraged to attend the annual Membership Meeting. Key decisions are made by the members at this meeting which may include voting for new board members, deciding on new initiatives, approving the annual budget, and even making beneficial changes to the bylaws. The annual dinner/meeting is the membership's opportunity to be both seen and heard.
