Springtime is a fisherman's dream here in the Eastern
Lakes Region with our rushing rivers and streams teeming
with trout and salmon, both native and stocked.
In
Summer, guests can enjoy picnic lunches while hiking
through the many trails, enjoy a waterfall or other scenic
wonder, or go swimming or canoeing. Our crystal clear lakes
provide a cool, refreshing dip for swimmers of all
abilities. For the ambitious, over 150 miles of trails link
the scenic peaks of the famous Presidential Mountain Range.
Mountain biking and hiking opportunities abound! Horseback
riding and golf are available right nearby as well.
Autumn
in New Hampshire brings the most spectacular display of
color and vibrance that must be seen to be appreciated. The
surrounding mountains provide the perfect backdrop for the
vivid hues of the fall foliage. Take a ride along the scenic
Kancamagus Highway, 30 miles of spectacular viewing along
the only National Scenic Byway in New England. Allow plenty
of time for stops to picnic, to view the scenery from an
overlook, or to hike a short distance to a beautiful
waterfall.
During
the Winter months, you can enjoy cross country skiing
on trails all around the area. The Mount Washington Valley
Ski Touring Association offers 65 kilometers of varying
challenges throughout the area. If alpine skiing is your
passion, just minutes away you can enjoy superb alpine
skiing at King Pine Ski Area. If you want variety in your
skiing, five other major ski areas are just a short drive
away.

to keep all ages having fun. Here's just a sampling of some

Washington and the Mt. Washington Auto Road (can your car
make it to the top?), The Whale's Tale Amusement Park in
nearby Lincoln, NH, Attitash Bear Peak's Alpine and Water
Slides...and the list goes on.
You can top off the day's activities, whatever they may

right here in our neighborhood. Everything from fine,
